- Rwandan students admitted to the University of Rwanda have two options to cover tuition fees and maintenance allowances during their studies at the University. The first option, students can pay the tuition fees and maintenance fees by themselves. For students unable to pay these costs by themselves can apply for a scholarship loan to cover their university education from the Rwanda Higher Education Council (HEC). - International students, upon receiving the admission to pursue their studies at the University of Rwanda, they can either decide to finance their studies privately or apply scholarships from their respective governments or other organizations within and outside their countries to finance their studies.
